Diane Arbus was a New York City native born in 1923. She was a very talented photographer that started her career in fashion photography. Diane worked and learned a lot of her photography skills from her husband, Allan Arbus. Mr.Arbus was a famous actor back in the late 1950's. Diane then began to venture around The Big Apple, she became fascinated with the people she found. She wondered public parks, museums, and other various locations taking very raw quality images. In the mid 1960's is when Diane became famous for her many works. Two years after her divorce with Allan Arbus, Diane committed suicide in her New York City apartment July, 1971. Like many of Diane Arbus's admirers, I love the raw quality of her pictures. Taking pictures of people is one of my favorite subjects.
